Why accounts get frozen and how to restore access, and how Truss keeps your funds secure.

Why is my account frozen?

Accounts are frozen for one of three reasons:

  • Negative balance — a reversed deposit or returned payment caused an overdraft. Deposit funds to restore access.
  • Suspected fraud — our risk team flagged unusual activity. Contact support immediately.
  • Check under investigation — a deposited check is being reviewed. Do not spend those funds until confirmed.

Heads up: If your account is frozen, do not attempt multiple login attempts or transactions. Contact support@trusspayments.com directly — we can typically resolve freezes within 1 business day.

How is Truss secure?

  • Bank-grade encryption on all data
  • FDIC-insured funds held at partner banks
  • Two-factor authentication on every login
  • Real-time fraud monitoring
  • Visa's zero-liability protection on card transactions

Heads up: Each company must have its own EIN and formation documents. You cannot merge two separate companies into one Truss account.
