Make an instant transfer to a debit card

How instant transfers work

• Fee: 1.75% of the instant amount, added on top. A $100.00 transfer costs $1.75, so you're charged $101.75 total.
• Speed: arrives in minutes.
• Destination: an eligible debit card. Instant transfers can't go to an ACH account.
• Limits: you can send up to your daily instant limit, shown as Up to $X available today. The minimum is $10.

The fee posts as its own line on your Transactions page, separate from the transfer.

Start a transfer

• Go to Accounts, then Cash, and select Transfer.
• Or select Quick Actions, then under Banking, select Transfer.

Enter the Amount, check your Truss cash account under Where is it coming from?, pick your linked external account under Where is it going?, and select Review. You'll pick the debit card on the next screen.

Switch to instant

1. On Review transfer, under You'll receive, select Get all $X in minutes. This option shows the fee before you choose it.
2. The transfer changes to Today · in minutes.

1. Select Add a debit card. A debit card is required for instant.
2. Enter the card details and save.

Debit card requirements

The name on the debit card must match the name of the Truss account owner. If the names don't match, the instant transfer won't go through.

• Use a debit card issued in the account owner's name.
• A card in a teammate's, family member's, or other person's name will be declined, even if they work for your business.
• This applies every time you use instant, including when you send only part of a transfer instantly.

Send part of it instantly

Don't need all of it right now? Send part instantly and pay the fee only on that part.

1. On the instant card, select Edit.
2. Enter an Instant amount, or tap Max, Half, 25%, or Min $10. The fee updates as you type.
3. Select Confirm.

The rest goes by standard ACH to your linked account automatically, with no fee. Only the instant portion is charged 1.75%. To drop instant entirely, select Remove instant portion (or Remove on the review screen).

Confirm the transfer

1. Check the summary: Withdrawal, Instant fee (1.75%), and Total charged today.
2. Select Withdraw $X + $fee.

⚠️ Instant transfers can't be undone Once you confirm, the money sends right away. If the card issuer returns the transfer, the 1.75% fee isn't refunded.

If you don't see the instant option

• The amount is over today's instant limit. Select Edit and lower the instant amount, or send the rest by standard ACH.
• Instant isn't turned on for your account yet. Instant transfers need additional verification. Email support@trusspayments.com to request access.
