You can use your Truss account to pay off an external credit card. There are two methods.

⚠️ Check your available balance first
You need sufficient available balance for the payment to go through. If your balance is too low, the payment will bounce.
For Method 2 (auto-pay pull), funds must be settled in Truss — allow up to 2 business days after an ACH deposit, or 4 business days after a check deposit.

Method 1 — Send a Direct Deposit (ACH) bill payment

  1. In the Truss dashboard, click Bills in the left sidebar
  2. Click Create bill (top right)
  3. Search for an existing vendor or add a new vendor
  4. Enter the amount and a short description (e.g. "Visa bill payment")
  5. Click the Payment button on the new bill
  6. Select Direct Deposit (ACH) as the payment method
  7. Enter your credit card's payment routing and account number, then click Add
  8. Confirm details and send

Method 2 — Set Truss as your credit card's auto-pay source

  1. In the Truss dashboard, click Accounts
  2. Click Cash account
  3. Click View details
  4. Note your Truss routing number, account number, and bank name
  5. Log into your credit card account and add these details as your payment source
  6. Your credit card will automatically pull payments from Truss on your due date

💡 Method 2 is great for recurring payments — set it once and the credit card pulls from Truss automatically each month.
