Understanding Your Truss Balance
Where to find your balance, what "available" vs. "settled" means, and how to view your recent activity.
Two ways to check your balance
Your Truss balance is always available from two places in your account:
- From your Home dashboard, where a Cash Account card shows your available balance at a glance.
- From Accounts → Cash Account, which gives you the full account detail view, including your account and routing numbers.
On Home, the Cash Account card shows your Available balance, your Settled balance, and a 30-day summary of money in and money out. Tap Open or View transactions to jump into the full account.
To get there directly, open the Accounts menu and select Cash Account.
What your balance shows
The Accounts page shows your combined balance across all your checking accounts:
- Settled: funds that have cleared.
- Pending: funds still settling.
- Accrued interest: interest earned across your checking accounts.
Select Cash account to see the details for that account:
- Balance and APY: shown under the balance.
- Account and routing numbers: share these with anyone who needs to send you an ACH payment. Select the eye icon to show the full account number.
- Earned this month and Lifetime interest.
- Bank verification letter: download it when a vendor or customer asks for proof of your account details.
Your available balance is what you can send right now. It shows in the Transfer panel under Where is it coming from? when you start a transfer.
Money in and out
Both views also summarize your recent activity. The Home dashboard card shows a quick 30-day snapshot of money in and money out, along with how that compares to the prior 30 days. From the Cash Account page, select View transactions to see the full list of individual deposits and withdrawals behind those numbers.
